2017年の年賀状の絵です。この年は酉年でしたので、鶏の中でも私が特に美しいと思う東天紅を描きました。鶏の絵は雄鶏だけで描かれることが多いので、雌鶏と雛も加えました。

原画は、2017年に東京交通会館にて開催されたサムホール展にて初出展されました。

This painting is for a New Year’s card of 2017. Since that year was the Year of the Rooster, I painted Totenko long crowers which were especially beautiful among the chicken in my opinion.

Because many of chickens’ pictures tend to have only roosters, I added a hen and a chick as well.

The original painting was first exhibited at the gallery of Tokyo Kotsu Kaikan in 2017.
